Apple is renowned for making some of the top tech products in the world. No doubt, their products are expensive, but they’re worth it. The features, build quality and their lifespan makes Apple products worth it.
On top of that, Apple’s brand image is more than enough to convince anyone to get its products.
Ever since it was founded in 1976, Apple has released hundreds of products. However, only some were truly revolutionary. Here are some of the best Apple products to date:
- iPod
- iPhone
- iPhone 5
- MacBook Air M1
- MacBook Pro M1
- Apple II
- Airpods
- iPad Pro 12.9
- Magic Keyboard
- Apple Pencil (2nd-gen.)
- iPhone 14 Pro Max (updated)
iPod
The iPod was one of Apple’s revolutionary products. “1,000 songs in your pocket” was the marketing line. The iPod was one of Apple’s products that got it famous.
At that time, getting 1,000 songs in one small device seemed almost an impossible task.
Because of how many songs it could store (and Apple’s genius marketing, of course), it was soon in everyone’s pockets.
This was an example of Apple’s creativity and innovation. Apple had created a small device capable of storing a huge amount of data.
All in all, this product did something that seemed impossible at that time. I think it deserved to be sold this much.
iPhone
The first iPhone ever was an absolute revolution in the smartphone industry. Making a capacitive touch screen, that was so good, and combining it with something that was already out there shows Steve Job’s creativity.
This merging proved to be a game changer. By creating a device this good, Apple set a standard for other smartphone companies like Nokia, Samsung and Blueberry.
Had Apple not made such a great touch smartphone, other companies wouldn’t have bothered to make supreme quality smartphones with such a great touch screen.
The touch sensitivity was pretty decent as well. No one expected it to be that good.
iPhone 5
The iPhone 5 was another iPhone that proved to be a game-changer (not in the creative sense though). Although it wasn’t as much of a big deal as the original iPhone was, it was still a pretty good phone.
This one was more of a technology-advancing leap than an innovative one. In fact, it wasn’t innovative at all. There was nothing creative about it.
However, I’ve put it on this list because of how good of an upgrade it was over the iPhone 4.
However, Apple crossed the technological barrier pretty quickly with this. The technology barrier of that time was crossed pretty easily because of this. The camera resolution and the screen resolution (and, consequently, the pixel density) were more than everyone was expecting.
Apple raised the bar for smartphones with this.
MacBook Air M1 Laptop (2020)
The MacBook Air M1 features the M1 silicon chip that Apple made itself. The new M1 chip allowed the MacBook to deliver more power while prolonging the battery life. Usually, performance and battery life don’t go together in laptops but Apple made them a great match with this new chip.
With a battery life of 14 hours of wireless web surfing and 10 hours of mixed usage, the MacBook Air M1 delivers the best bang for one’s buck.
This is probably going to be the most important breakthrough in the history of laptops.
Even though this is a fanless machine, the thermal throttling feature doesn’t allow it to get hot. In normal tasks like web surfing, writing emails, etc., this laptop barely gets warm.
MacBook Pro M1
The MacBook Pro M1 is a scaled-up version of the MacBook Air M1. While the MBA only has a 7-core CPU and GPU, the MBP has an 8-core one. Both have the 16-core neural engine with the RAM unified for better efficiency.
The MBP isn’t a fanless machine, though. So, thermal throttling isn’t seen in this laptop.
Even though you might expect it to be much better in performance compared to the MBA, the difference isn’t that much.
The battery life is a few hours more on the MBP (compared to the MBA). A touch bar can also be seen at the top of the keyboard.
The Apple II Computer
What made the Apple II different from the Apple I was its ready-to-use feature. Unlike the Apple I, for which consumers had to buy parts separately, the Apple II came ready to be used. It was like a plug-n-play device.
That, combined with the floppy disc drive and the spreadsheet program, made Apple II a hit.
Apple had succeeded in bringing computers to the average man in the street with Apple II.
AirPods
The success of the AirPods reflects Apple’s marketing expertise more than it does anything else. Neither is it the first of its kind nor does it provide extraordinary value for money.
The AirPods quickly began to be seen as a status of taste and wealth. In fact, most of Apple’s marketing is done by creating a FOMO.
Even though the AirPods did not provide the best value for money, they sure did provide the best value. Lag and connectivity issues were two of the major problems with wireless buds at the time.
Apple found a work-around for both of these. These Bluetooth buds were the first of its kind to not have any kind of latency issues. Apple’s engineers made it so that users won’t have to manually connect and disconnect the Airpods every time they want to use them.
The company brought ease to consumers and solved their problems – one of the two things that Apple is famous for.
iPad Pro 12.9
Many iPads have come and gone, but this has been, by far, the best one. The iPad Pro 12.9 features the same M1 chip that is used in the latest MacBooks. However, it cannot fully utilize the M1’s power due to software limitations.
The screen resolution and the color accuracy are out of this world. The iPad Pro 12.9 probably has the best-looking screen among all tablets.
On top of that, the battery life is just *chef’s kiss*.
However, the iPad can be improved a lot. By adding softwares that can take advantage of its power, this can be a lot better. Developers will have to optimize the apps accordingly.
All in all, this is a premium device that is sure to get anyone fired up.
Magic Keyboard
The magic keyboard is the most premium keyboard you’ll find in the market. Typically paired with the iPad Pro, this gives the iPad a laptop-like feel. Although this will be pretty heavy on your pocket, it makes up for the price with its quality and feel.
Hands down the best keyboard on the market, Apple did an amazing job with this product. The keyboard uses a mechanism similar to the one used in the MacBooks.
Weight-wise, this is a great keyboard because of how great it feels. The weight is just ok and nothing too fancy at 600 grams. You’re missing out on a lot of stuff if you aren’t using this with your iPad.
Apple Pencil (2nd Gen)
The 2nd Generation Apple Pencil is an innovative input device that has made the life of iPad users much easier. It comes with wireless pairing and charging. Moreover, it doesn’t contain any moving parts inside its casing, so it can easily be connected with several iPad accessories.
Another fantastic feature includes ‘free engraving.’ Unlike the first-generation model, it means that you can customize your Apple Pencil with your name or anything you want.
The fact that the second-generation Apple Pencil has a feature of magnetic attachment adds to its worth. Buy and try it today; you won’t regret your purchase.
iPhone 14 Pro Max
With the recent launch of the iPhone 14 Pro Max and it’s updated software The iPhone 14 follows its predecessors in terms of sleekness, bigger screens, and unfortunately a clunky type of camera accessible points. Although, this iphone is a bit on the heavier considering it has to make up for the different features, it is nevertheless packed with functionality. it’s a power phone that lets you shoot, edit, and publish your videos just like a pro. If you are a casual user then perhaps this version is not for you.
With the release of iPhone Pro Max series, it only goes to show that Apple has always stayed ahead of its game in design, usability, and not to mention the must-have branding.
While other technology brands maybe among the top ten players in the world, only Apple products are coveted by the consumers at large.
